Benjamin Bailey – 3aaa’s IT Apprentice with Digi Toolbox
Ben Bailey came to us looking for an IT apprenticeship and we found him one, unfortunately it wasn’t what he was looking for. I received a call from Kirsty Campbell within HR at Digi Toolbox who was keen to see how we can be of assistance in providing the business with an IT apprentice and the solution was most definitely Ben!
Ben interviewed 2 days after myself and Kirsty had been in touch. On describing the role to Ben he was thrilled, he knew this was the IT path he wanted to take and jumped at the chance to interview, especially with a company as distinguished as Digi Toolbox.
Kirsty was very helpful in giving me the preparation Benjamin would need to interview, she was precise, dedicated to the delivery of how the interview will be carried out and her communication was fantastic.
Ben called me immediately after finishing with Kirsty and Mark Viccars (the company Technical Director) and believed he did well. He loved how accommodating the company were, the office and the IT support/Remote support work he will be carrying out.
He asked me to feedback immediately to Kirsty (he was very excited which I thought OK that’s a good sign!) and it was! Ben was offered the opportunity to become an IT Support Apprentice with the company, starting a week later and he was speechless. Digi Toolbox throughout the process have been excellent. When an employer knows exactly what they want in an apprentice and we deliver it, it makes the occasion even more special.
Ben is overjoyed with his new employer and we’re over the moon for him!
I’d like to take the time to Thank Kirsty and Mark at Digi Toolbox for their assistance and enthusiasm in working with us and we will continue to assist them however we can for their future hiring needs!
Thanks to all at Digi Toolbox, here’s to Ben!
