The time is drawing near for our most prestigious fundraising event ever! We are very grateful for all the items that have been donated for our Gala Dinner and Charity Auction, and we are delighted to be able to reveal below a sample of the incredible items that people will be able to bid for. We have many more besides and we are still finalising some stunning final listings. We simply cannot say a big enough ‘thank you’ to all of you who have donated, organised donations, sponsored the event, invited guests and generally supported the planning of this incredible evening. It promises to be an unforgettable night, with welcome drinks, a three course dinner, iPad bidding systems, a grand live auction of the top items and music!

 

You and your guests will have an amazing night out, and what a wonderful way to get the best Christmas presents ever – all bought at the beginning of November! Many of our donations are not the kind of gifts you will be able to buy anywhere else, and we know you and your friends will be as excited about them as we are! There will be large items, less expensive items, and a balloon table where people can buy different price balloons with items attached to them – lots of meals, vouchers and even gadgets… There really will be something for everybody, whatever their budget, and all of the money raised will boost our efforts to build our wonderful new church and community facility.

 

Thank you again so much for your support for this event. It is going to be a wonderful night and it will help us take a big step forwards in our fundraising adventure.

 

Summary of Prizes – Live Auction

VIP trip to Classic FM & Royal Albert Hall for 6 people	You and your five guests will be given the chance to experience “A Day in the Life of Classic FM” plus a VIP experience in the evening at the Royal Albert Hall.
Trimaran Sailing experience for 4 people	You and your three guests will experience an exhilarating full days sailing on a unique 30ft trimaran on the Solent, no sailing experience necessary.
Day at the Naval Dockyard with the Admiral	A fantastic VIP day with the Royal Navy in Portsmouth for up to four people.  As well as a full tour of the traditional ships you will be given a full tour of the Harbour Masters control Head Quarters and HMS Duncan the most modern warship by the Commanding Officer.  You will be treated to lunch with him in either the Commanding Officers cabin or the Naval Base Commanders historic official residence. Behind the Scenes Tour of Radio 2/ BBC Building with TV Personality	Two guests are invited by radio and TV personality Diane Louise Jordan to come to the BBC studios in London and watch her record her Radio 2 programme ‘The Sunday Hour’. Diane will then take you on an hour long tour, showing you some of the highlights of the BBC building including where the BBC News and the One show are filmed.
